For Christian Dior's Spring '09 campaign, John Galliano chose Super Gisele Bündchen to show off his sexy collection. The ad, shot by Craig McDean, depicts Gisele wearing a modern macrame LBD and killer heels. I like how she works it for the camera in a complicated yet cunning pose. The tribal accessories and beige backdrop make Gisele stand out like an amazing, Amazonian queen. However, I have qualms about those short bangs — yikes. What do you think of this ad?

12Gisele did better ads for Dior back the late 1990s and early 2000s. I don't think it's her fault - I blame McDean for failing to inject some creativity into the shots.

18I got the details on the shoes. This whole look is from the "Summer" collection, not the Spring collection. And the shoes are the "Miss Dior Gladiators." They retail for $790.

23I really hate Gisele. maybe that makes me biased, but I also hate what those bangs do to her, I hate her face in this picture (her nose looks even larger than usual), and the pose and settung is lame.

25The spring '09 Versace ads featuring her and Kate Moss are much more appealing. Gisele is beautiful but too much of the dress is covered up with her pose here. I agree that the accessories and backround bring the focus onto the model, but that shouldn't be so for a fashion ad; it should be all about the garment.
