Jennifer Aniston attended the Oscars looking statuesque and shiny in Valentino. Although she and John Mayer skipped the red carpet, the actress did present onstage. The silhouette is classic but the fabric is dazzling. Do you love or hate?

Beautiful dress. It looked even prettier on TV than in these photos.
What is up with the braid thing though? That's not so good. Poor hair choice.
she looks gorgeous!
I like the dress. At one moment she was on stage presenting short animated film she was lookin in Brad's direction and damn near missed her line. She just looked so uncomfortable, I felt bad for her a little bit.
I thought she looked beautiful and fresh, but I didn't really love the hair. A bit too casual and young-ish but otherwise, gorgeous.
I thought it was a great dress should of did something else with the hair overal it was a BAM dress did her mission by the wow factor eat your heart out Brad
This picture shows more detail of the dress which I like, however, I have to agree with kastarte2 about the hair. It's a miss. Too casual for a Valentino beaded dress. She should slap her hair stylist for this look. Also think she should have glammed up the makeup, especially to highlight her eyes.
I completely love it.
eh.
Meh, it reminds me too much of the Chanel (I think) that she wore to Cannes a few years back. The hair is a bit too much lauren conrad and I kinda wish her overall look had a bit more color to it.
She looks fantastic!
Thats an amazing dress and she has the body to pull it off. I didnt love the hair too much
Love it! Somewhere Todd Walker was watching this and drooling...
Love it! Love the contrast between the hair and the dress - she looks great!
The dress is beautiful and I like her hair, but not together. That dress needs a more formal hairdo.
i like that she mixed up the dressiness of the gown with loose hair.
I agree that the hair was too young and casual for this situation, and unfortunately the dress made her look wide, which we know she isn't. More so on tv than the side angle shots here.
Love the dress, not so sure about the hair!
beautiful dress, natural make up and hair: PERFECT!!
in the very beginning the nerves were rolling a bit but --- by the time she got warmed up --- she was sparkling and funny.
seriously if i was standing in front of my ex i would be seriously nervous too. but all in all --- she looked happy:)
She's not wearing black, that's enough to warrant "love it" in my book. Her dress is pretty, but she should stop slouching.
Hate it.
But then again, I'm being biased because I was forced to wear a very similar (But uglier!) bridesmaid dress.
Oh wow do I ever hate this!!!! Her HAIR is awful, her dress...OMG! Why is she trying to dress like a 20 year old???
Her skin is amazing. I expected something much classier...what a disappointment. She looks ridiculous!
Why is she always wearing such neutral, same kinda dresses over and over again?
dress more your age and its the oscars you can do better dont take styling tips from the girls from the hills
I like it!
She looked sooooo nervous onstage presenting. That must have been very awkward considering she had to stand directly in front of Brangelina.
The dress is allright, not to die for though!I really hate the hair, and the make up seems strange.anyway the way she acted yesterday made me ralise that she is a normal human being,so i dont mind her style.
absolutely stunning dress!
its boring, JUST like she is. Hair, dress, demeanor....boring.
i like it, but don't love it. i was hoping she'd wow me a little more and give angie a run for her money, but she didn't.
It's a cute hairstyle for a teenager, but not a grown woman at a formal event. She's beautiful. I'm just not crazy about the look overall.
She looks stunning. Brad would have to be an idiot if he didn't have a moment where he second guessed himself.
I like the dress but I don´t like her hair and I don´t like her dress. What was she doing at the oscar´s?
She looks gorgeous!
I love the dress but I do agree that the hair is too casual.
brads is no fool he made the right choice, but he may ask her for her surgeons number, an oscar should be given to them
i was so excited when she came out to present!!! love her - she looked beautiful!! loved the hair.
mme hart,
i agree. she's done up like a teenager, especially the hair. disappointing. i don't care for her much to begin with, but i expected something big from her tonight.
not sure why she was there though; is she promoting anything that isn't absolute fluff?
I like it.
The dress is great on her...but the Laguna Beach hairstyle takes so much away from it.
She was beautiful!
I'm so glad she didn't wear black.
i like the dress. i think she's always had a more casual look- even back when she was dating brad. she's not the high glamour type. its nice that she's true to her personality but i woulda kinda liked to see her doe it up all glamourous
The dress is gorgeous and perfect for her, and I think her hair is cute -- for everyday occasions! It doesn't compliment the dress, and it isn't appropriate for the event either. I wish she had done something a little more polished with it.
I think she looked great.I liked the dress although I wish she would of done something else with her hair.
I didn't love it nor did I hate and I'm definately not undecided it was just okay to me. It seems like tight metallics have been done for a couple seasons now and they are kind of exspected. Plus that hair was a mess way to "LC of the Hills" for a red carpet look!
she looks like she came from the beach put on her prob dress from the early 90s and got in her limo. Mayer was better dressed then her. And oh poor Jenny I'm sure Brad was thinking 'yeah I definitely made the right decision'. It's mean, it sucks, but it is what it is
She looks stunning, but I agree with a lot of the comments: the hair was a mistake.
The dress is nice but her hair looks so stupid.
Gorgeous
