Sometimes you crave simplicity, and other times, you look to your top to serve as the standout piece in your ensemble. This Foley + Corinna Ombre Fringe Top ($394) does the latter. I love that the fringe is flashy but not over-the-top. But, in this economy, who wants to dish out $400 for a top? Not I.

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this Shimmy Fringe Tank Top ($30). Now that price is more like it. The tank still has the ombre fringe element, but these fringes are layered and shorter. No matter, it can still take center stage in your outfit. Black stovepipes, funky booties, and you're good to rock 'n go.

The 2nd one is better looking anyway, in my opinion.
1I like them both! I have a similar fringe top from Victoria's Secret last season. Very cute.
2I don't care for either.
3Ugly.
4I hate fringe. Designers are going to have to lower their exorbitant prices if they want to stay afloat during this depression.
5I think I like the cheapie better!
6I have this fringe dress from Bona Drag if you want the whole look. It's $134 and in my opinion, the cutest of all the choices! http://bonadrag.com/shopmain/dresses/eden.html
7The 2nd top is so much better. The fringe on the first top is too long.
8Yes! I actually prefer the cheaper one!
9I'd like the first one if it wasn't ombre - I am very picky about fringe, and I think for it to work it has to be long, dark, and sleek (none of that hippie stuff). the top one is just ugly, and the bottom one - am I the only one that hates tiers?
10similar but so not the same! the foley + corinna top is so artistic and unique. the second is just a cute tank with fringe.
