It was a fashion emergency! One of our fellow Fab readers will be attending a decadent debutante ball this Summer and wanted us to help her find the perfect dress. She's required to wear a white, cream, or very pale pastel floor-length gown, so I suggested an ethereal look. It was up to you to make her shine!
I started you off with these Kenneth Jay Lane Crystal Teardrop Earrings ($90) because they emit ultimate elegance. Let's see what you found for her!
Look #1, created by EllaB, is simply gorgeous. That dress is amazing!

Look #2, created by Whiplash, is perfect for a risk-taker. The tiered layers are unique.
Look #3, created by bvfashion, is soft and romantic. The metallic flats are perfect for dancing the night away.

I was a debutante and there were a lot more restrictions then that. There had to be cap sleeves, you could only wear pearls and it had to be full at the bottom. Basically, we all just bought wedding dresses. There also couldn't be too much detail on the gown.
1Pretty!
2I wouldn't really wear any of those...
3I wanted to be debutante when I was a teenager .... too bad I was so shy/
There's always the Vienna Opera Ball
4Lovely!!
5I am sorry, all of those are way too modern to be debutante dresses. Those are more beach outfits.
6yeah i am not really feeling any of these outfits. the dresses are just not me, but i guess that's personal preference, maybe someone else out there will like them.
i agree with tenndra5 though.. none of them seem "debutante" enough.
7number one
8Ditto kcefalu; we wouldn't have been allowed to wear any of these.
9I really thought debutante dresses had to be ball gowns, you know, with the full skirt and all. These dresses seem like sundresses you would wear over your bikini at the beach.
10Beautiful
