In an ideal world, we would have two pairs of the same jeans — one for flats and one for heels. But back to reality. Insta-hem ($18), a nonpermanent hemming tape, makes it possible to wear the same jeans in many ways. It has an adhesive back that is strong enough to stick to fabric and hold in place for several hours.
Say you love these Arden B. Tulip Pocket Denim Trousers ($68) with both platforms wedges and flat sandals. Now you can wear them with both without having to alter anything. I know, the fold-under technique isn't as attractive, but the alternative of paying a hefty alteration fee and having it be permanent is more brutal. Convinced? Follow the three-step instructions and you're good to fold.

I sure could use this! I always buy two pairs of the same exact pant/jeans. One to be tailored for my heels another to be fitted for my flats. No matter what I must get them tailored since I'm short, so it gets really costly for me. So this will save my a lot of money in the long run. Thanks for posting!
1I wish there was a more permanent solution minus cutting and sewing. Seven brand jeans fit me perfect everywhere but length, they are always WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long.
2I think I'd rather just have them hemmed...hemming tape works okay in a pinch, but I think it makes the bottoms of the pant legs look weird, since there's no seam or anything.
3I'm glad I can do all that myself... I'd hate to pay someone else to do it! Hemming tape has been around for a while, I wonder what exactly makes this different/better?
4Sounds like she's basically selling self-adhesive velcro tape.
5I think a better solution which would be temporary but permanent at the same time would be to use a hook and eye clasp to attach the bottom of the jeans to the inside
