Alexander McQueen is one designer who always manages to be both freaky and fabulous. However, the harsh tone with his Fall collection, for me, veered on the hellish side of freaky. Craftsmanship and wow-factor will never be sacrificed, but these creations were something out of a Matthew Barney feature. It's like that scary movie — Hellraiser? — you can't look away from but makes your hair stand on end. In the end, though, I love scary movies. It's your call: freaky or Fab?

Really creepy.
I think it's kind of fab. After all, the runway is the place to get creative!
Scary!
ARRGHGH!
Oh My Gosh. I'm Still Freaking Out. Like A Lot
Fabulous, probably my fave collection.
THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL ART AND CREATIVITY! Loooves it!
I'd love to know the hours that went into knitting that sculptural sweater dress. OMG!
A little too over-the-top for me.
Alexander McQueen and John Galliano are the two designers that I rely upon for intricate, daring and over-the-top fashion. Mostly seen in the couture shows, I love how McQ brings the extreme to RTW. And I agree with Giggle; to watch the process and know the time it takes to master his amazing designs would be awesome!
fabulous!
Between the hair and the lips, we don't know where to look. It's too distracting from the clothes. I want to see his designs, not the freakish models!
McQueen is genius.
I have one word for this man and he's work...GENIOUS !!!
One of my favourite collections of this season.
Awesome and creative! I love McQueen's fashions... and I also love horror movies, so it is a nice combo :]
It's freaky but in a good way.
I agree Krradford. Freaky but good. Definitely cool.
Freakishly fabulous - I love McQueen.
I have to say, definitely freaky, but like a few others commented, the runway is the place to be creative.
Ugh.
You have to look past the styling and see the beautiful clothes. Alexander McQueen has always been dark but it's no different really that seeing Dior, John Galliano, Victor and Rolf, and Oliver Theyskens
Well he certainly is a rebel... the collection altogether is stylishly creepy but some of pieces could be pulled off individually
Sometimes it hard to remember that these are fashion "shows". Thanks McQueen for bring on the drama. LOVE! AMAZING! What craftsmanship. The detail in the stitching is mind blowing and the shoes...

That is way too weird for me and I would probably never wear it.
Very, very, VERY freaky!!! I can't even concentrate on the clothes because the freakiness distracts me!
I am a huge McQueenie, and I absolutely love and want the first two outfits (minus the freaky headpeice and chainmail shirt), but the whole idea is just freaky! the last one is especially scary - it looks like ropes and the model's face is so wierd. I would love to see the actual clothing outside of the runway, though...
oh, and I totally agree with AmandaG, at least McQueen always puts on a great show, even if they are sometimes disturbing...
I love it as a work of art and a concept -- I think it's visually stimulate, original, and unexpected. But I don't know if I like it as fashion. Nothing in this collection seems at all wearable by anyone.
voted freaky, but i really like it. amazing details.
FREAKY.
but i think i'm reacting to the lips more so than to the clothes...
Fabulous. Fashion is art for McQueen.
I love it, but it is a little creepy, which kind of makes me really like it.
I love it! McQueen is always over the top, but he never disappoints. It's genius.
It's fabulously freaky! Love it. Love him.
Fabulous. How could you say otherwise?
What a
show.
When I first saw this collection yesterday I nearly died from excitement.
can't say its an art, it's really creepy
The middle photo makes me feel slightly claustrophobic.
I would rather use this collection as an inspiration than the original inspiration source
