One wouldn't think Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is the type to sport kicks during her offtime, but her ad for Reebok proves otherwise. "Leighton was chosen because she is the ultimate city girl," said a Reebok spokesperson. "These trainers are perfect for the modern urban woman, featuring Reebok's characteristic comfort and premium material use coupled with a fresh, adaptable look."
Check out Leighton pictured against a city backdrop, wearing a pair of Reebok Top Down sneakers — available nationwide — along with a coral American Apparel skirt and tank. We still think it's a random choice, but who knows?

she looks so cute! I know this is an ad for the sneakers, but I'm not even paying attention to them. I want the skirt!!
1She does look cute there!
2Cute
3Adorable! I love her skirt.
4Awww
5This is a really great shot!
6Aww I've been looking for a skirt like that!
7I love her and the skirt, but this pose is so lame - it's like that episode in the first season where Blair just couldn't let go and pose well. I wish they had done something more fun and original...
8i dig it!
9love how the skirts getting more attention than the shoes.
10can't say i can imagine blair waldorf tottering around in reebok high tops!
but then maybe leighton will... will be a good endorsement in terms of the advertising in print but not so much in everyday life her being seen to wear the brand....
It's a very cute ad, but I don't think they picked the best person. It's like when they chose Scarlet Johansson to design a sports line, when Scarlet is less sporty person ever! Vanessa from Gossip Girl would be a must better option for example, she's beautiful and has an edgier style... You can actually picture her wearing these in real life!
11she's so pretty! as usual)
12I want that skirt too. I would pair it with my Chuck Taylors.
I wonder if I could
buy it online...
13i like leighton!
