Ladies and gents, you're looking at Zac Posen's ad campaign debut. Here's the story on why he decided to jump on the bandwagon now. The publisher of indie fashion magazine Fanzine137, Luis Venegas, made him an offer he couldn't refuse: a double spread to create his ideal ad. Posen quickly assembled a team — Ellen von Unwerth as the photographer, his stylist friend Christopher Niquet, and model Alexandra Tomlinson — and got to work at his friend Lorraine Kirke’s house. "Once Ellen saw me singing Cole Porter, laying on top of Lorraine’s grand piano, she decided it had to be the spot for the picture," Posen said. We think it's kind of boring, what do you think?

It could be a lot better. You can't even tell she's on top of a piano.
Yeah, it's boring.
The fact that there is a cat in it makes me love it.
i love the cat and the cat with the model makes her looks sassy but classy and thats what Zac represents so i think this ad is amazing i love it
I voted for "amazing debut" because all I'm looking at is the dress in this ad. And that's really the point, right? I like that nothing is distracting from the point of the ad (well except maybe the cat and it's super cute).
I love any ads with cute animals in it. And that cat is very cute.
I love it if just for the cat! lol.
I think it looks lovely
I think it's great!
It's pretty blah...the kitty is the best thing about it. LOL.
Anything with a kitty in it makes me happy
It's a tad bit boring
I agree with nourhayaty. The cat makes her look more approchable, contrasting with the dress and make up. But I'm bias, I have a soft spot for kitties =)
I it because of the cat, too. It has the same colors as my Sassafras.
Yeah it could have been more exciting but I have an exciting tibit.....I saw Zac Posen at the Neiman Marcus in Boca the other day.....He looked FAB!!
Love it!
I think it's cute and quite different, and I love that the model is smiling, but it is a little boring. the dress is fabulous, the model is gorgeous and interesting, and the cat is fun and cute. but it would have been better if she was sprawled across the piano and the (adorable) cat had been walking on the piano next to her. and I don't even like cats...
The cat shows more emotion than the model. And I've come to expect more from Zac POsen. It's just a bit blah. Everything could have been amped up a bit and the model could have shown more energy.
I think the quality of the photo is amazing but this dress is not all that scrumptious. Dolce & Gabbana already made it but short and satin-like. but same print. Besides Zac Posen is my role model designer and i know his clothes can tell a much more High Fashion Story in photographs . instead of a girl with a cat
