Despite news about her failing Lavender Line, Vera Wang is determined to make things work. In fact, the designer decided to forge ahead with a footwear collection while plans for her handbag line are put on hold. “I didn’t want to launch a bag line in this economy,” said the designer. As for Lavender Label, expect to see a change within price points and a shift in offerings. Vera hinted that she might turn the line into a dress collection. “We will decide, but based on what the orders are coming in,” said Wang.
