They should be. When I get married, I do not want the huge puffy ball gown. I want simple, unique elegance like Carolyn Besset Kennedy. I want to look back on my photos 50 years later and
still love my gown.
If I ever get married and have a traditional ceremony, I plan on having a "white evening gown"-type dress. Anything more "extravagant" would be so out of character, and frankly weird-looking,
on me.
Some of them can be ok, but I find those are the ones that don't look like wedding dresses, i.e. the ones that could be worn for other occasions if they were in a different colour.
I think most traditional poufy, elaborate wedding dresses are completely hideous. But take that with a grain of salt, because I want a Moulin Rouge wedding lol... dancing down the aisle in a
corset and garters just seems so much more fun!
I think the stylish wedding gowns are the ones that don't look like a traditional cinderella pouf dress. There was a Carolina Herrera dress on this site a few days ago that was amazing.
Incredibly stylish
I voted no. Wedding dresses are gorgeous but you can only wear them once and many of them soon go out of style. If I ever get married I want to wear a stylish dress that I can wear more than
once. I don't know if I would buy a wedding dress at all. I just want a fun dress that could be worn more than once and that I can breathe in.
Well of course they can be stylish! Not all wedding dresses can be lumped into the same category. Some people go for more traditional, others for more of the moment/"stylish" dresses.
no..its not like I would go out and buy a "trendy" wedding dress, they can have new innovative shapes, or classic shapes, or dowdy shapes, but they are in their own category, especially since
they are so important and are only worn once..hopefully.
I agree with most everyone who posted a comment, wedding dresses can be stylish. The ones that aren't probably at one time or another were. For example in the 90's many wedding dresses had
3/4 length sleeves or big pouffy off-the-shoulder sleeves where as now sleeveless dresses are in style...
Yes! the marriage dress will be stylish, In modern world all are stylish, why we want old culture. the modern &new stylish dress are important to marriage and we needed that.but its see
like a marriage dress its important to all ,please note this guys.

Of course they're stylish, well for the most part. I prefer more simple and timeless dress, not poofy, lace ridden and sparkles myself.
1In general, not really...but mine totally is

3Yeah they belong in their own category but of course, they will always borrow from the styles that are popular at the time.
4It depends on the dress and your definition of stylish. I don't find princess-y ball gowns stylish.
5I agree with bonniebonnie. There are stylish and nonstylish wedding dresses. I like the off-the-beaten-path dresses that aren't poofy clouds of white.
6They can be if they aren't poofy with a giant bow on the butt.
7Wedding dress is something you wear once not everyday. I can be stylish but I rather say its not.

10They are stylish , but they have diffrent trend to follow.

12Sure, they CAN be.
13I rarely see a beautiful wedding dress.

17Of course. They are one of the biggest style choices you can make. And believe me, these days you can definitely make a stylish statement.
18I didn't vote because there are stylish wedding dresses and then there are ugly, tacky wedding dresses.

20I believe so. I'm not the kind of girl that dreams of my version of a perfect wedding, but I do LOVE Portia de Rossi's wedding dress
21I think wedding dresses can be gorgeous but i don't know that i would call them stylish...
22I've seen some disastrous ones and some incredibly beautiful ones. No reason why they can't be stylish.
23No - bridal and runway should remain separate.
24I actually love the one in that picture.
