Have you ever seen Radiohead live? They rock, in the most Fab way. If you dig their moody electronic rock, add them to your show queue. I once saw them in New York on Liberty Island — it was pretty phenomenal. However, they didn't play my favorite song of theirs — "Creep." I never understood why not. "Creep" was their first commercial success, it blew up circa '93. I remember being at camp and it was always the last song of the dance. And I was giddy dancing with my two-week camp BF. So when, years later, I saw them live, I had to hear "Creep." Maybe they didn't play it because it was so popular and therefore overplayed. Oh well, I still love them and this sweet and sour song.

Love them too, they play Creep but since 1998 it's been more of a rare or uncommon song to hear.
Here's a list of all the times they've played it...

1I saw Radiohead perform Creep, summer of '93. They were opening for PJ Harvey in Hollywood. But you're right, the band resents the song's popularity and got tired of playing it. Their style has also evolved so much that I'm not sure if they feel an affinity for the song anymore.
2Aww it's a shame they don't play it that often--it remains my fav song of theirs, and definitely one of my fav songs in general.
3I saw an interview with them where they were asked why they never play "Creep" and it was because they had played it a million times for people who only knew them because of that song. They got sick of playing it for people who weren't real fans.
4I think they don't like to play it because while it's their most popular song, it's really different from the rest of their stuff. I think they don't like the fact that they got popular on the one song that doesn't really "represent" them as a band.
5I think they don't like to play it also because of the comparisons the song got to Nirvana. I think over the years, they changed their whole 'grunge representation' and have reinvented themselves. They've made some really innovative music ever since. They're very experimental.
6Love it.
7ImJessica is correct. The song doesn't represent them as a band at all. It's a good song, but everything since then has been so much more complex and intense and AMAZING.
I saw them in 1992 or 1993. They opened for Belly!
8It should be mentioned they don't play live a single song from the rest of that first album either.
9I've loved Radiohead since high school...such an amazing band. This song is okay, but not one of my favorites.
10I

Er anyway, yeah that makes sense! They have lots of awesome songs!
11Radiohead is awesome!
12Creep=awesome song. I like The Cure's cover, but I don't think anything can beat the original.
You have great taste Fab! Creep is my favorite Radiohead song too. It's so haunting and easy to relate to...at least for me. hehe
13Anyone ever hear Amanda Palmer's cover of it? Look it up on YouTube
