You knew Mary-Kate wasn't going to wear something simple. Far from. She swept through the Met Gala in a vintage Lacroix gown. The draped pleated chiffon bodice over a full ruffled skirt overlaid in metallic lace and silver-embroidered bustier-basque is a mouthful — and it's certainly a complex choice. She looks like she stepped off the set of a period film; is that a good or bad thing?
