
Houndstooth
n. (Also referred to as checks). A square design, usually woven into fabric, but may be printed. Design squares of alternating colors, usually one square is white. The pattern made a frequent appearance on fabrics designed in the 1930s through to the 1970s. Houndstooth is commonly used for suiting, especially jackets/blazers.

1Come to Alabama and you will see nothing but Houndstooth print and the color red worn together....especially during football season.
2yay for houndstooth but not this particular coat.
3Houndstooth was very in last autumn here, in France. Crop jackets, short capes, classy coats, trench coats, skirts, trapeze dresses, shift dresses, etc.
4Yet, it was already a lot less fashionable by January. I think everybody had an overdose of it here!
I would be very surprised if it still is "in" for upcoming autumn.
I had a houndstooth scarf last fall. I think its just a classic look.
5Ew. This reminds me of bad 80s clothing....big shoulder pads and big hair.

7damn this treand went by really quick... i bought a top with red and black instead of white and black and i only got to wear it a couple times...
what a waste... so never again will i follow trends...
well, maybe not all...
8yeah it has gwen stefani circa 2003 written alll over it! hahahaha..somehow i still find the big houndstooth prints still cute though.
