Did you give Bravo's new show The Fashion Show a chance? I did and overall I thought it was amusing. The caliber of designers isn't the most impressive, but I loved the live audience aspect. I'll definitely continue to watch.
If you loved James-Paul's winning look, you can purchase his black Rubik's Cube dress and navy bolero ($199 and $99, respectively) right now. I can see those with avant-garde taste totally rocking it. Be sure to check back to Bravo's shopping section every week because all winning looks will be available to the masses. Neat, huh?

i wasn't really impressed with any of them.
i hope they make a lot of progress, because i thought that the whole idea of buying the clothes was cool, but none of the items looked like anything i would spend money on.
the show is filled with some unique characters though, which will keep me watching, even if the fashion doesn't.
1Your writing to a simple but quality, I am interested in reading it. I try to visit you more often. Thank you my friend.
2Not my style. I like seeing more pieces and like the mini collection idea.
3I was really surprised with how low the quality of some their workmanship was. I do like the little bolero on this piece!
4i've not watched the show, but judging from this piece, i'm not impressed either
5yeah based on this, i will never watch the show. fug.
6TO me, this is a hot mess. None of the designs I saw were finished. The challenge was not the best, I hope it gets better. I will continue to watch, I like the fact that each challenge ends up on the runway.
7Unlike Project Runway, The Fashion Show isn't that dramatic and interesting. However, since I love fashion so much, I will continue to watch the show and am interested in seeing what these designers will produce. I do think, however, that the first challenge was quite difficult for being a first challenge. My two favorite looks were the one featured above and the one that Merlin created. Although I wouldn't wear this week's winning look (I'm short, and the dress on me won't look good at all!), I do like the bolero--but not that much where I'll spend $100 on it. Hopefully the Fashion Show will win me over in weeks to come.
8Yeah I was pretty unimpressed with the workmanship as well. I was a little upset that they booted the menswear guy, because even though his outfit was GOD AWFUL and he technically deserved it, at least they know the man can sew. The girl they let stay was just thoroughly mediocre and I think the other guy had a lot more potential... oh well.
9Also, I think that there's definitely something lost in translation with the mass-produced one. James-Paul's looked sculptural and well-made, the mass produced one just looks lumpy.
10It's kind of nice...
11what's with Kelly Roland -- someone should tell her this isn't Shakepeare - what does she know about fashion - she's just intensely reading the cue cards.
12I think isaac mizrahi has misaligned himself. They proudly mentioned he has accomplished so much as he only sleeps 4 hours per night. I think he's tired....sleep Isaac and fix the show.
13I've watched the show, they should put the final three that the audience liked online. The final winners who got the clothes online was ugly.
