Each time I visit the Barneys website, I stop, stare and fall in love all over again with this Derek Lam Hildegard Hobo, $1,800. I know the price is out of this world. Still, not taking money into consideration, this bag is exquisite. The shape is perfect and the bunching at the top just right. The brass ram's head hardware is unlike anything I've seen out there and really makes the bag what it is. It comes with detachable leather shoulder straps, which would come in handy when I'm on one of my shopping excursions. In other words, it's the bag to have...or more like the bag to stalk!

Not my style.. And yes: way to expensive.. ;P
I want a Derek Lam so badly! I hate to say this but Steve Madden have some nice "inspired-by" DL bags in their previous fall collection, which should still be available.
Mmm I'm not too into this
That bag is the perfect shape, I agree.
umm...will someone explain to me why ANYONE would spend that much on a purse? Even if I had money to BURN i wouldn't spend that much. GIVE IT TO CHARITY
Hey, Fab...That bag is not complicated enough for its price tag, because you could easily get one similar tailor-made, for, admittedly, not a low price, but if you'd be willing to pay a couple hundred dollars, you would be pretty satisfied with the results!!
eehhh--- doesn't blow me away...
pretty cute and simple but that price is outrageous!
Fab, I agree, these ram head bags have been on my radar since they came out.
Other than the hardware, it's not a very special bag. It just doesn't "wow" me, and for the price ...
Not my style. It seems over priced to me.
Hardware is cute, but for this price I want something a tad longer/wider and with enough strap room for me to loop it over my shoulder comfortably.
So not into that whole bag-that-costs-a-month's-rent thing. Points for originality, though.
i love how he incorporates the lamb head in all his bags! nice detail! i
the bag!!!
ridiculously expensive unreasonable
Given the designer's name is Hildegard, I'm going to assume the hardware was inspired by the jewelery worn by Vikings in the days of old. Torques, I think they were called. Th design is the same.
