Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci feels "It’s important to give reality to women," hence why he's decided to take a more realistic approach to his Fall/Winter '09 ad campaign. "I wanted to give this feeling of going from a studio to reality." To be precise, this reality is set inside a gilded bedroom in the Château de Ferrières. A not-so-obvious change: He's gone from using photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for nine seasons to Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Also unlike the past, the ad uses color photography and features new models — his favorite, Mariacarla Boscono is still in the mix but the most surprising addition is Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima. What's your verdict, do you like Givenchy's upcoming ads or not?

I didn't vote b/se I don't know what the old Givenchy campaign looked like. I do, however, think this one is atrocious! How is this giving "reality to women"?
1BWAH!!!!! They give me the willies!
2Not nice at all. And, quite honestly- this is as far from reality as it can get. Stick to fantasy.
3Adriana Lima for Givenchy?
4Love it. I like these pics, but... "reality"?!?

5I agree with db849, it is very "fantasy", very "fake". And that's why I like it.
But it has nothing to do with reality. What is that naked woman doing there? They are lesbian? Well, I don't like that pic with the naked woman.
Oh GOSH! Adriana honey, look what this horrible ad has done to you! You look like a scary disaster!
6FIERCE! HAHA
7tcup: It's Adriana "trying" to be high fashion.
8A little too dark for me...
9they look like Romulans. Old school Romulans, not reboot Eric Bana romulans
10i can't say i like it, but the contrast is interesting.
