Next to jump on the celebrity designing bandwagon is Miley Cyrus. The teen sensation has teamed up with Max Azria to create a juniors collection at Wal-Mart. Word has it that Max formed a friendship with Miley and her parents during the course of dressing her for various red carpet events. "Miley Cyrus is talented and approachable, so working with her sparked a line that is authentic and vibrant," said Max Azria. The collection, seen on Miley, is set to release in early August and will include tops, pants, graphic tees, and shoes — all priced under $20. Certainly an interesting partnership; are you excited?

2What a bizarre combo. Do they have the same agents or publicists or something? Azria is highly talented and reputable and Miley is a teen sensation, not exactly a fashion icon. Azria's stuff is not teen friendly anyways. Sounds like a bullsh*t match up if I ever heard one. DEALBREAKER

4I'm actually excited to see what kind of NONHannah Montana designs will come out of this! She dresses well. I like a lot of the looks she puts together when not in an outrageous costume (80s night rollery derby or bowling was it? bluegh)

9As someone who works the company (MaxAzria)...this is alittle bit annoying not to mention sad, not only for their choice of "star" but to bring a line to WalMart(?) Why not, H&M? Or why not...noone? Why do designers have to sell-out just so they can appeal to the general public.
I think the fashion industry has lost its luster.

if anyone hadnt noticed, miley cyrus had been wearing ALOT of bcbg, max azria, and herve leger to multiple events. maybe its a little "scratch my back ill scratch yours" ya kno? she wears his stuff and promotes it all over and then they "team" up to design stuff for walmart... id be thrilled if they came out with a $20 herve leger bandage dress for walmart but that will NEVER happen so ill jut keep on dreaming......

same here. I usually don't shop at walmart. i only go there to buy gum/ candy and c.d.s but i guess ill make an exception for max azria. if anything apeals to me, then ill buy and scribble her name off in black sharpie. Something about her just bugs me. i dont know what it is, but i just dont like her.

17I just bought some of the clothes 2day and the r soo cool and im not a big fan of miley. anyway the clothes are awsome!
18I'm from Brazil, but lived in USA, I buy the clothes that Miley is launching. Miley's initiative is very good, the clothes are cute and the price is affordable. I am a big fan of Miley, I admire a lot!
19This is like Jimmy Choo collaborating with Payless Shoes. VERY sad. I refuse to purchase or wear any of this clothing. This is an unwise career choice for Mr. Azria, as the value of his other work will undoubtedly diminish due to this.
20I hate Miley cyrus.. and so far i like this one ruffle top but everything else looks a little cheap. And i know it IS cheap but take Forever21 as an example. They have cheap stuff but it looks expensive most of the time.
