Welcome to day 4 of our week-long look at coat trends for Fall 2006. (To read yesterday's installment, click here.) Today’s spotlight: dress coats. These feminine shapes warm like coats but fit dresses, with full swingy "skirts," cinched waists, and delicate collars. Here are my picks for some great dress coats at both designer and non-designer prices.
Tocca Valentina Coat, $650, available here.

Anna Sui Pintuck Stripe Coat, $697, available here.

Marni Wool Cloth Coat, $1,263, available here.

super cute! but none of these will keep you warm!
1Cute but somw of them are overly priced!Plus the winters we get here in canada would not keep me warm.
2the first 3 are frump city. the others are okay. the problem with these is that you look really fat because you have your clothes on what appears to be a dress.
3super cute!
4The first two look like something that Amish women would wear. I dig the DKNY, though.
5Cute on the right person .... The first few look like maternity wear.
6I try and rarely wear black- I love color and lots of it. The only coat I would wear is the grey French Connection for $298.00. I want an olive green coat this year, I love green !
7DKNY is the only one I liked. I checked if they will send to Canada. There is no option to have it shipped to Canada..
8I love these especially the DNKY one, I need a one for the winter, but I like coats with hoods to stop my hair from getting wet from the rain and snow.
9I love the Marni One! it's so cute
10The last half are wearable.
11OMG I have the DKNY one! I bought it a week ago thinking it was super cute and now I'm trendy!!!! Yesssss...I'm "with it" LMAO!
12I like them all, especially the first two. Cute, cute, cute! Too bad I don't have the big bucks to spend on a coat. I got a great dress coat in crushed velvet last year on ebay, though.
13I'm obsessed with winter coats! My hubs can't understand how I can own so many, lol.
14I like the French Connection and Lex ones. I think I'd look like a balloon in the first few, lol.
