Did we not call this? Remember I voted Lara Stone my favorite model of 2008? We're halfway into '09, and Lara is trailblazing, appearing in numerous ad campaigns and editorials. Go Lara! Most recently, the Berlin-born model was crowned the face of Eres lingerie and swimwear. Photographed by Ian Welters, here's Stone all curly, in lace, oozing sexuality. Valerie Delafosse, creative director of Eres, explained it as "German Expressionism with a lot of dark colors like faux noir. It’s very Garbo and Dietrich-looking, with a feeling of, ‘Is it a man or a woman?’" Are you smitten with Stone yet?

I used to not like Lara at all. I found her to be ugly, but she has totally grown on me. She is a great model and brings such variety to her editorials. I have come to love her.
