I'm definitely in favor of the neutral trend that's ruling the runways at New York Fashion Week—most recently at the runway show for the Spring 2007 line from Michael Kors, lately of Project Runway fame. I love the way that Long Island native Kors puts spins on the classics for rich and divine results, and this line is no exception. Here, Kors proves that khaki, white, and black don't have to be boring, tripping up the color palette with edgy lace-up heels, flowing tops and slim-fitting skirts cut at unexpected angles, and his own sleek take on layering. I particularly liked his use of wide belts cinching the waistlines of everything from evening gowns to shorts suits to feminine springtime trenches. Even the more billowy silhouettes look slender and polished. To see all of Fabsugar's New York Fashion Week coverage, click here. To view the rest of the Michael Kors collection, read more

I love his clothes. Ever since he was with Celine and did the clothes for Rene Russo in The Thomas Crown Affair. He is a bit of a b*tch sometimes on Project Runway, but he makes Heidi Klum looks great for events!
I ♥ MK. That first dress is beautiful! I really love the neutrals, too. This is Jen A's SEASON! Ha ha ha.
What an amazing beautiful collection. Anyone know if there is any truth to him doing his own cheapy line al la Target or Blommies? Its an internet rumor I really would love to be true. That said bought a pair of his boots years ago and am still wearing them and they still rock!
I LOVE the first dress!
Oooh, now I love these, this collection is really nice and you can copy the style easily.
Even his ugly stuff is elegant. I love Michael Kors. I need to get rich so I can fill my closet with his stuff.
He is definitely my favorite designer
HoldensGirl, I heard the same rumor, but I heard that he's going to open his own stores. Vera Wang is doing a lower priced line for Kohl's, though.
oh i love this line! i really like the pink dress with the black bow... SO cute.
I think Michael Kors' pieces are always very sleek and well-designed, even though they are so simple. And they fit so well!
