One of my newest favorite designers is proving to be a fave amongst the glitterati as well. This Giambattista Valli bold geometric strapless dress is just so awesome; I envy both of these ladies. While I prefer SJP with her hair down - her face is just so long - I prefer SJP's minimal look and swirly black shoes. Jessica looks a bit disheveled when she wore this to the designer's Fall show back in March - and tan lines are a no-no! You can't see her shoes but they were black platforms with a criss-cross toe. I'll take this dress any day, but who do you think wore it better?

10Jessica! I like how she paired the classic warm pearls with such a bold print. It doesn't match and that's why I look it, it interesting and odd and SJP would have done something like that as Carrie on Sex & The City. While I adore SJP I don't think she looks better in her dress, she looks a little dry and needs her hair down, or a necklace or larger earrings, anything to keep the neckline from looking so bare.
In the end I wish this dress was a bit shorter and we could see both of their knees.
11Jess looks better - it seems a little too much in pattern for SJP - looks somewhat out of place but Jess looks at home in it and works it to the max!
12sjp... i think the camera man got the wrong angle because i can't imagine these two looking horrible in this dress... they are both wearing it pretty, but in this picture it's got to be sjp.

20SJP : the shoes work fine, the dress is the main accessory (why those huge cream pearls, Jessica? the shape doesn't match and the colour neither... That dress is white-white and yellow, please never add cream to that!), her clutch purse is very simple and that always suits a special pattern and she decided to wear a thin bracelet which fits on her wrist in a very natural way (its line reminds those of the dress : straight and wavy at the same time).

29Jessica Biel, SJP looks so skinny and bony, and her hair is too severe. Jessica looks more natural and relaxed. The color doesn't look that great on SJP either with her paleness.

35Jessica hands down. SJP's shoes make her legs look stumpy and she's already short. Coupled with the length, the dress is just not suited for her. On Jessica, it looks bold yet suitable. It was obviously altered better. Jessica is wearing the h--l out of that dress.
