There's no doubt songstress Beth Ditto is proud of her zaftig figure. After being approached by Topshop to perform at its flagship store in London, Ditto struck back stating, “I don’t think it’s fair to put my face somewhere where they would never let me in there to wear their clothes." Her wish is Topshop's command. Word got around to Arcadia, Topshop's parent company, and now the singer is set to design a plus-sized collection for Evans, a company under the Arcadia umbrella. Ditto's offerings, available online on July 9, will include hip styles such as corset dresses and cropped biker jackets. Kudos, another nod to the plus-sized gals!

Love her!
1Yea she is my new lesbian-hero...I lover her attitude!
2All well and good, but it looks to me like Topshop still couldn't give a monkeys about the plus size girls, instead palming Miss Ditto off with crappy old Evans!
3Maybe there is a fashion god, great idea.
4Very nice site!
5I love her style and her attitude that she is showing off in her picture.
6so glad she told Topshop what was up. In the past I have felt that way about stores like Hollister, Zara, and Topshop. Even now, going into those stores can make me feel uncomfortable.
7Hollister sucks anyway
