Well lookie here: actress Joy Bryant wore the J.Crew Talitha Patchwork Dress at a cocktail party at the Chateau Marmont in LA! She looks lovely and lively in her maxi dress. She got creative with her heather grey cardigan by tying it instead of buttoning it up - love it. And her pairing two necklaces together is super cool too. I couldn't see her shoes, so I gave her a cute pair I thought she might be wearing!

Pretty but I hate the look, it's pretty boring.
1I just how she is wearing no makeup and her skin looks flawless. God, I need to wash my face. LOL
As for the outfit, I like the cardigan and how it fits her. The dress? No so much.
2it doesn't look quite as full on her as it does on the j-crew model...which is a good thing, she wears it well
3i LOVE what she did with the cardigan! such a small thing to do but it really adds a twist to her outfit.
and btw, who is she? she has such perfect skin (aside from the shininess)

5There is no WAY I'd pay 495 bucks for a patchwork dress from J.Crew. No. Way.
6everytime i hear something like this i am amazed at the things people will spend that kind of money on. and when did j.crew get so expensive? they were always a little bit higher, but in the past year or so i've noticed they've gone crazy! same stuff, double the price.
7She can definitely pull of this look- she looks amazing and her skin is fantastic.

21I think the dress is gorgeous on her, it's not something I would or could wear but she makes it work. I'm not sure about the sweater over the dress though, it seems like an afterthought. I'm sure she just got cold so she threw it on. It's very casual and relaxed.

24I just had a flashback, of having to stay the night with my grandmother in milwalkee, sleeping on the couch, and having to use a hideous mulitcolored quilt to keep me warm. This dress is Fug.

26I thought the dress was so pretty that I bookmarked a month ago. I think the model who's wearing it looks much better than Joy in this dress. Of course Joy can pull it off because she's so tall but this cardigan covers up the fitted part of the dress, and I hate her hair and makeup with it. I don't like it all.
27$500 for that is over the top..but if it came with that hottie in the background i'd take it
