If you've always wanted to hire a personal stylist, check out Covet.com. Seriously, it doesn't get any better than this. I admit, I was a bit skeptical about working with a virtual stylist, but after taking its awesome Stylyzer test, I was a changed woman. It described my style to a T and also compared my likings to celebrities who have the same taste — i.e. Sienna Miller! This is how it works: sign up, take the Stylyzer test, submit size and brand info, and presto. All you have to do now is wait for the shopping suggestion emails from Covet. Oh, did I mention the services are free?

It didn't work for me, probably since it seemingly fails to take into account if, for instance, you don't like a certain hemline length (no miniskirts or shorts for me, thank you very much). But the test was good fun nevertheless.
1the stylizer didn't work at all. i wanted to try it again, but the site won't let me... i did go in and manually choose my style, though.
2worked for me-i'm totally sporty minimalist. i think it depends on if you pay attention to the celebrity or to what they are wearing. maybe they should blur their faces?
3on the 'stuff you hate page' i clicked on mini skirts and leopard print - two things i never wear - so you can tell the stylyzer what hemline you don't want. (i also hate wrap dresses and you can click on that on the dress page.) so it really is like a virtual stylist!
4i just did it and they send me an email entirely of new york and company clothes, and when i tried to go back and say i didnt like the brand, the brand wasnt listed on their list of 'i dont like these brands'. oh well, back to shopping for myself!
5I just signed up and its so much fun! Instead of places sending you emails of things I don't like and can't afford...i'm now going to get emails of stuff I DO like and CAN afford! Yeah!
6I'm a cross between three styles, Glam, Eclectic and Minimalist.
7Guess that sums it up. I like to dress up, dress down and sometimes surprise with something odd.
Sarahab, NY&Co is listed. You have to actually type it in because they only list the most popular brands automatically.
8I think it described my style pretty accurately, although I was confused by the test picture that asked me to choose between the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge.
9Wow this is too good to be true! It's a perfect way to find out what else are out there that is also your style, without the time factor and the physical burden of looking for them. It's also awesome that I can check it out for free. Thanks for the post, I'm gonna go play around with it for hours!
10Got my style pretty well, but then proceeded to send me an email full of choices that I specifically said I hated.
11The test was fun, but I've only received a grand total of one email since I signed up. Guess I'm just too hard to dress!
12It was fun making the profile, and then when I got my first email of stuff supposedly picked just for me, I literally HATED almost all of it. Kind of disappointing. It's probably because I put my max prices pretty low, but I've been shopping on that budget for a long time and I find plenty of stuff on my own if I look hard enough.
13One more bogus site. The site is so hopeless that I can't even begin to say.
I would never buy from them. I am reporting this site as SPAM.
