Sneak Peek! Jennifer Behr's Elegant Punk Fall '09
Jennifer Behr, best known for girlie confections on the head of Blair Waldorf, has turned to the dark side. Her next immense collection of headgear is inspired by Victorian jet jewelry. While you will find nil color, you will find texture and sparkle; duchess satin turbans, nickel hardware, grey pearls, patent leather, flat chains, and romantic belts meld together to create an elegant punk mood. Also notice the models' hair styling for tips on how to wear. I can certainly see this deadly studded headband on new queen bee Jenny Humphrey . . .

Well, lets just say I can't picture B sporting any of these headbands on next season's Gossip Girl. The look is interesting, and at the very least- intense.To be frank, I can't imagine wearing a spiked head band unless it was for a costume.
1I think a spiked headband is terribly unapproachable. Maybe for a photo shoot, but I can see it taking off with the body art crowd. Some of the other pieces are really pretty, though.
2I pretty much want a lot of the headbands. The level of edge and a class is totally there. Most of the headbands I would like to use as necklaces..like the 4th one.
3I think a lot of these are gorgeous; dark but beautiful. I can imagine wearing a lot of them (that is if headbands didn't give me a huge headache).

5Yeah, I opt not to wear headbands that aren't allowed passed airport security.
I love her other "softer" looks. Particularly cute for brides.

mean other than the $100000 givechy ones??). I cant wait to get some to wear with skinny jeans, or a pencil skirt. Anyway, looks to me, if you are worried about looking *pretty* (rather than
fashionable) these wont work for you, but these are just want I want in my JEWLERY BOX

8um, I agree. I LOVE THESE!!!!!! I dont wear hair accessories, but I would definitely start wearing them if they all looked a little less girly. This might be what I needed in my wardrobe (to replace the new going out dresses and shoes I WONT be getting this Fall, ugh).
