It's cyclical. Especially for me. I think the fact that I re-obsess with it every few years means it's a part of my style DNA. With today's modern cuts and fresh details and yesteryears beads and colors, Navajo-esque style feels new again, aka nuevo Navajo. It doesn't take a road trip to New Mexico for me to whip out my beaded earrings and turquoise belt, but a big sky always inspires . . .

This Mexican-inspired shirt is cute, but not quiet my style. The colors are too dark and the beading doesn't go with anything I have in my closet-- I can't even think of a bag of mine that would compliment this top. I guess the best way to wear this shirt would be to pair it with a great pair of white shorts, and call it a day.
1Oh, I've been dying for a road trip through New Mexico anyway and this just makes me want it more.
