Back-to-school might be a couple months away, but Target's already gearing up for the upcoming season. For Fall '09 accessories, the retailer focused on texture and sleek embellishments such as suede shoes made in a rainbow of colors and clutches decorated with zany zippers. The collection isn't over the top, which I like, and the prices are right — ranging from $10 to $40. I already have the jeweled cuff and Wang-ish red clutch on my list, and I'm also smitten with this purple tube scarf. Definitely something to look forward to when the days get shorter and the nights get longer . . .

1I certainly love what they are shooting for, but I must say that I shop there frequently, and the past several collaborations have been very badly made, with some exceptions. Hopefully they will get back to their previously level of awesomeness.
2I like the blask strappy peep toe shoes...I hope they come in my size. Yeah, I haven't been impressed w. the past couple collabos bc they were poorly made. I am hoping for the best.

6The brown boots are a dead-on copy of Frey boots in the same color. If they're made well, that's a great deal!
7I agree, jorelly, when I saw those boots, I instantly thought "FRYE!!!" I would definitely get them if they don't look too shabby in person. I'm also loving the two scarves and the black bag with the zipper details.. reminds me of Alexander Wang.

9I agree with superninja - a lot of the recent collections have been less-than-stellar, but I'm really hopeful for this fall line. Those brown boots are exactly what I've been looking for, and if the quality's good, I'm definitely grabbing a pair!
10The grey open toed ankle boots look very similar to a pair MK+Ashley done for their line....

12Thanks for the post! I love when I can find stylish pieces at low prices. Target does a great job at imitating high end designs. I especially love those dark gray booties-- maybe I'll just have to drive over and pick up a pair!
