There's a mesh craze these days. I'm not complaining because, when done right, mesh can be super sexy. This Cesare Paciotti Mesh Sandal ($500, originally $625) has just enough mesh to be cool without being cheesy. But, what's up with the price? I can't handle that right now.

Now, the price of this Nine West Jay Mesh Sandal ($40, originally $80) I can deal with. The heel is not as high, but that's probably a good thing for us women who are always on the run, run, run. The mesh ankle is slightly sporty and will add subtle sass to any p.m. look.

Can't say I'm a fan of mesh but I've seen some great looks this season to make me believe otherwise. Cesare Paciotti is definitely an example where mesh is done right, and the Nine West version is equally as sexy. One thing though, I love the platforms on the Paciotti ones that would ease up on my legs a little bit... But really, must the price be that high?
