Roberto Cavalli, Made-to-Measure Man
Just a day after saying
he doesn't pay attention to costs, Robert Cavalli
has announced he is starting a made-to-measure service in a special private space above the Rue Saint-Honoré store called Roberto Cavalli Saint-Honoré. Well-to-do clients can now order handmade wedding, cocktail, and evening dresses, starting at $41,950 for a cocktail dress. But Cavalli is not going into the couture business; this service is simply an extension of his current red carpet and special events offerings. Let's gaze at the fruits of labor . . . even if we can't afford them.

Wow, this dress and clutch are out of this world high-fashion. I love the light khaki color of the dress and the sequin design on the neck line. The pose the model is making also complements the dress favorably. I must say, the poofy sleeves are my favorite!
