I'm not usually a huge fan of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. clothing line: It's too busy and flashy for me, and I can't deal with the high doses of gothic lettering and leopard-print motifs. But her Spring 2007 collection, unveiled Friday at
New York Fashion Week, is going in a more appealing direction for me.
Inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's look in the 1983 film Scarface, the line of evening wear and tailored sportswear was more 1970s New York than 1990s Los Angeles. I particularly liked the floor-sweeping graphic-print dresses, gold-lame hot pants, and the eye-catching octagonal gold belt buckles. There were, however, a few examples of Gwen's stalwart style that I found rather hideous—namely, the rainbow-fade handbag and garish sweats. But all in all, this is some of the best L.A.M.B. stuff I've seen yet. To see all of Fabsugar's Fashion Week coverage, click here. To see the rest of the L.A.M.B. collection, read more

3Oh and the black and white bag!!
4like alot of these. i love gwen, god shes so cool isnt she? she just always has been.
5Ooooh, I ♥ this collection!! I love that she has a signature look, even though I wouldn't personally wear it. But, I'm glad that she always throws in at least a few pieces that are totally Gwen.
6I agree Pop, this line is a lot more muted than her typical garrish look. 99% of the time I look at her clothes and think, "This sh*t is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S."
7OOoooOOOooo!!! L-O-V-E that animal print dress!
8I still can't appreciate her outrageous prints and designs. But I like the bags!

Well, some of the items are a tad too wild
for me, but a lot is cute!
