Eve showed up to the MTV Studios for her appearance on TRL looking like this? The only way I can justify this mess of an outfit is by believing that her stylist was deathly ill that day. There is just too much going on here: hot pink and black leggings, way-too-strappy shoes and Mr. T-like chunky necklaces. I do adore her LBD because it's modern, classy and so feminine.
I would have first ditched the leggings and gone bare-legged. Then I would have swapped the chunky necklaces for something less gaudy. And those shoes? They would have been replaced with less-strappy and more-classy sky high Mary Janes.

It wouldn't be bad if she hadn't worn the awful leggings. She has a nice figure and could pull most anything off, but let's stick to more classics...at least less crazy.

15I went to Neimans yesterday and saw those Manolo Blahniks she's wearing, they were totally S&M and ridiculous, not to mention $1095!

18she seems to be reverting to her old ways. too much going on! i'd tell her to take off the longer chain, the crazy leggings and switch the ghastly gladiator heels with a nice, understated pair of louboutin stilletos. btw her hair has got to go to...i'd dye it darker, layer it and give her some side-swept bangs. bottom line---i'd soften up her whole look.

24I'd wear the leggings and shoes with a jersey dress. Black and empire waisted. I'd wear the dress alone with silver strappy sandals.

26i would actually find a similar dress w/ out the bow and change the shoes to a more modern looking one instead of a strappy one... the t-strap shoes look god to me, but i would find one that has a gold zipper or gold accent.

29The dress is cute, but it doesn't flatter Eve's upper body and is too dressy for TRL. I'd ditch everything but the dress, then pair it with a cropped creme knit cardigan and those adorable super strappy Proenza shoes with all the ties. Some light messy curls in her hair would complete the look nicely.

31It's definitely hard (if not impossible) to mis 80s electropop, old school hip-hop and 50s modest glam... I think she just needed to streamline the look she was going for. Either do it up 80s and change the dress and shoe to an all black shortshorts and top combo with simple black pumps or go glam and bare legs and fix or change the shoes... it has Holly Golightly or RunDMC written all over it... they should just never procreate! hehe
