After peeping at the behind-the-seams footage of Lily Allen's ads for Chanel, we can finally feast our eyes on the final product shot by the Kaiser himself. To no one's surprise, the British songstress looks amazingly cute in her diamond tiara, dark sunnies, and sleek separates — all while carrying Chanel's new Coco Cocoon reversible handbag collection. I'm loving how Lily's princess punk vibe shines through with the help of funky accessories and styling. The bags are definitely puffy and coccon-like, different from Chanel's per usual sleek options, but they're different and fun — just like Lily! Do tell: are you loving or hating this?
i think the pictures are cute and fun, but i thought the brand wanted to go for the more exclusive route? I don't get that from these pictures, i just get the fun and rich young vibe
1Have to admit, it does look playful and cool. However, airbrushed to the max! She is not that thin.
2Ugh, Lily Allen? What was Karl thinking?
3Blech. I'm not a Lily Allen fan..she's very classless, IMO.
4I don't really like Lily Allen that much but I love these pics
5Not a fan. Chanel is classy and timeless. Those two words should not be associated with Lily Allen. Sorry.
6I think the photos look nice but she doesn't make sense as the brand's face. I like her songs but she's definitely not one of the first names that pop into my mind when I think Chanel.
7I'm still totally against a drunken, classless mess like Lily Allen being the new face of Chanel, but I have to say, I like these pictures a lot morethan I ever thought I would, and she looks wonderful in them. I guess Karl knows his way around PhotoShop.
8How is Lily Allen any kind of a drunken mess? There's no evidence of that? ..
9LOL!
10LOVE IT!
She reminds me of Coco Chanel: she's a self-made woman, not in the norm, behaving the way she likes!
...just like COCO in her time!!!!
Shes cool, young and extremely witty. Great choice.
++LOVE the soft lambskin bags, want to touch it! and cateye SUNGLASSES!
