You never really can get enough good basics. Wendy Mullin has capitalized on this fact, and I'm glad that she does - she specializes in great basics in unique, modern shapes.
She started her NYC-based line of clothing and accessories in 1991, initially opening little boutiques in the back of record stores where she worked. After she gained some attention for her popular guitar straps, Wendy opened her first retail store in Little Italy, followed by stores in Brooklyn and L.A. Lucky for us, all her wares are now online, and she's even currently having a sale of up to 40% off her Spring line - from bags to canvas shoes to jumpers, tees, jackets, dresses, shorts, and jeans.

I love the black coat on this pic and basically almost everything; so excited.
I will be spending the money I don't have on her clothes. lol
1I love the way she puts some unexpected quirkiness and twists on her designs, but some clothes are just really shapeless and basics that gone awry. Generally, I love her sense of design.
2I've always loved her designs! I actually recieved her book as a gift a while back and I love using her patterns. I'll probably max out my new credit card on her site. Shh, don't tell.
3i love EVERYTHING on that site... too bad its way too expensive for me!! =(
4i've been a fan of wendy for years now. her sample sales are great and if you are lucky enough to live in a city where her stores are, she usually has stuff from prior seasons on super duper discount.
i lovelovelove bbw! and her guy stuff is pretty cool too.
5i love buying her sewing patterns! although i haven't done one... the styles are so modern and young compared to other ones!
6Wendy also has a great book out that's on my to-buy list called "Sew U." It's all about the basics of making your own wardrobe.
7I want that jacket!!!
8much love for the red purse in the middle and that black jacket!
9Ooh, I 'm off to check that site out!
10Looks good...
