Call me crazy, but I love these Marc by Marc Jacobs Zipper Boots, $870, that Leeluvfashion posted in the Love It or Hate It? group. Yes, they have way too many zippers than actually needed, but I like that they are black and blue and so sky high! What do you all think?

1not something id wear..ever.
2i'd have to see them on someone to see how tall they actually are. but im pretty sure i don't like them. if they were a bit shorter, they may be ok
3i'm not so sure...maybe i'd consider wearing them with a long simple sweater in the winter...just maybe.

22Yuck! I've always felt that most of the Marc by MJ shoes were ugly and this just proves me right.
23Fug just like everything else he makes. Alway amazes me how these guys can just put pins no a bag and sell it for $6500.
24I think it's rather daring, but cute none the less. With the right outfit, you could really dress this up. Only a fashion fanatic would understand my comment.

29If those had a heel OR the zippers were at an angle, those would be okay. WAY too tall for my legs. I am not sure what all those horizontal zippers are supposed to do for your calves. Make them look huge?

32Maybe if they were free. I would totally wear them. Maybe not around people I really new. Or if I were a little bit more eccentric. They are still different. I completely promote being different.

34I think they *might* be cool to wear for a season - maybe... and after that you'll realise that you're $870 out of pocket and you're stuck with these boots you'll never want to leave the house in again.

38Umm, horizontal stripes AND flat heels, what was Marc Jacobs smoking when he designed these monstrosities?! Certainly not very flattering for most peoples legs. The colours are cute though...

49The Puss-in-Boots look, the choice of suede (normal leather would have made these very easily tacky because of the zippers), the different shades of blue balancing through those black parts, the big zippers and the knee length : j'aime beaucoup.
I'm just having trouble with the sole. Why that ugly sole?
A simple leather one that would look just like the Three Musketeers's boots would have been ideal.
That's the annoying thing about Marc lately : he tends to make very nice items that have one thing completely wrong. Dang!
one would have to have very long legs and stick thin to pull these off. but, I like the color.
