A fashionista can never have too many accessories, so why not apply that same philosophy to your home? Just as an eye-catching necklace or handbag can transform an outfit, one unique throw pillow can completely liven up an otherwise basic couch, bed, or armchair. And don't be afraid to mix and match unexpected graphics and patterns. Here are some of my favorite playful throw pillows.
Urban Outfitters Flocked Wallpaper Piped Pillow, $20, available here.

Crate & Barrel Adora Pillow, $26.95, available here.

State Hand-Embroidered Pillow, $136, available in 50 state designs here.

Room & Board Chocolate Rhumba Pillow, $99, available here.

English Garden Hollyhock Pillow, $88, available here.

CB2 Spencer Multi Stripe Pillow, $29.95, here.

Delia's Zen Pillow, $38, available here.

Ooooh I love all of these except the last one. That one screams Shriners to me for some reason. So cute!!!
1I love these all too except the last it looks like those breast pillows, bosom buddies or something.
2No matter how cute a throw pillow is, I never buy it unless its really soft to the touch. My husband always complains about it like, "Honey, what's the point is you can only look at it!"
3i like the room and board rhumba pillow, but not for $99! I could make one for like $5!
4I think Im going to make some bc my couch is not only way to big but way to boring lol
5my mom makes those..i get new once every couple of months for free
i couldnt sit on
a couch without hugging one of those.
6Nice.
7I love the Crate & Barrel and the CB2. Until my landlord lets me paint my living room orange, I have to get my fix by using as many orange accessories as possible.

I like big fluffy washable pillows!
9not really feeling any of these... they are just not my colors.
10The 4th one would go in our living area sooo well, but ouch at the price! lol
11i like the one with the graffiti. but why pay so much for cushion covers that can be scarred forever at the slightest stain?
