How cool can a gal look? Angelina is back as the face of St. John and what a glamorous image shot by none other than Mario Testino. Here she is cruising in a convertible with perfect hair and that perfect pout. While I always like to see the clothes a bit more, that pristine white coat is gorgeous. And those clear white shades add even more cool to the scene. Though, I see a touch of Balenciaga's Spring suburban sci-fi influence; it must be the futuristic clear shades. Anywho, I'm sure there is more to come from this campaign but what a Fab beginning - I can't wait to see the rest in glossy form!

1IF she wasn't an actress, she could give Gisele a run for her money. She's got that classic look of a model---high cheekbones, angular shaped face and voluminous lips

6This endorsement deal makes no sense to me. Every time I walk through the St. John area of Saks, it just screams "ladies who lunch" and even though Jolie has cleaned up her wild-child image, it seems like an odd fit.
7I agree with CestLaVie - it looks like a great picture of Angelina but not really an ad for the clothes. I think it's a beautiful picture but it doesn't encourage me to look at/for St. John clothes...

19Angelina is unbelievably gorgeous. Even though i think she is WAY too thin these days and her head is starting to look big because of it. She is still the most glamorous woman of her generation.

23We all know Angelina is gorgeous, but when it comes down to it this is a pretty boring ad. You can't see what she's wearing (though what little of the coat we can see looks delightful). And I'm not convinced that she is the right fit for the brand....but all that said, who doesn't like looking at Angelina??

27I don't think she would have ever succeeded as a model. Granted, Angelina Jolie is absolutely gorgeous in terms of her features, but she's much too easily categorised as beautiful, if that makes any sense. There's nothing 'interesting' to look at (case(s) in point: Linda Evangelista's nose, Gemma's alien-like features, Daria's sometimes androgynous features). Her career as an actress today is the best choice for her.
As for the ads, I'm extremely underwhelmed. They're a little bland for my liking. She's gorgeous, though.
