It really depends ... I think there's a difference between a "trend" and what's "fashionable" or "in style" at the moment. I usually do buy a few pieces that are considered "trend" to jazz up
my basic stuff, like this cute little bolero/capelet I picked up at the Mango sale a few weeks ago.
I said "Other" because it depends on the trend. If the trend doesn't work with me and it's just gonna make me look like a THBC (Trying hard to be Cool), then I won't follow that trend. Like
the bubble skirts, I know it would look ridiculous on me. The skinny jeans, although I'm skinny and have long lean legs, I don't like them because I love my bootcuts more than anything
else.Sometimes I buy clothes w/ a little touch of a trend on it. Or I mix trendy with classic lines.
i really wanted to follow suit when skinny jeans came out - but I really look horrendous in them.
i agree with the girls, i am all about fashion if that would looking flattering on me and i pass on it when such trend/clothes would only make me look miserable and trying hard.
I don't follow trends per se~ if I like something I wear it. If I see a trend I do like, I may do an "inspired-by" outfit. I mix and match. Yeah....I have a pretty strange taste in fashion.
I'll only follow a trend if I like it and it works with my style. I don't like when everyone has the same thing so I try to avoid those types of trends.
if i like the trend then i'll follow. i really don't like leggings, hope this trend will fade soon. i might sound crazy when i say i don't like ballet flats, but i don't. i love skinny jeans.
i'm really liking prints as well, love to wear dresses with prints.
Trends are not a good investment (especially if you spend a hefty amount on your clothes) because some of them can't be worn past their prime. I like to invest in more classic pieces that
will stand the test of time (can anyone say Chanel 2.55 bag?)
I enjoy dressing according to trends and they are what makes the fashion world go 'round but everyone has to adapt the style to suit them. Take a trend and make it your own. Avoid wearing too
many trends all at once or you will end up looking like a fashion victim. Avoid being too trendy, it can look over done and you may end up looking stupid. Just be yourself and smile, that is
always in fashion!
I generally shy away from trends even when they suit because when you get to the high street you look like everyone else! The streets are britain are currently strewn with girls in tunics,
leggings, ballet pumps and metallic hobo bag. lol
I have to admit I do give into temptation now and then... only human
i'm definitely not a trend follower. i have really basic, simple, and classic taste, so i'm not to keen on things that are going to be "in" one minute, and "out" the next. and besides, i
can't afford to follow the every-changing trends of the fashion world.
i try not to, but it seems like all the stores carry the same stuff! there's not escaping the trends! so i try to stay away from trends and go to second hand stores.
having a style is the most important thing for me,however I do tend to fit the new trends in my style if it works.. looking & having an effortless style is what's important not looking
trendy!

In this week's Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf demonstrates that there's nothing like a red sparkly dress to make you stand out at a party. Although her exact Marchesa dress isn't available online, this one is quite similar.
i don't follow a trend if i don't like it. It's not right if you hate a certain trend but you still have to sport if because it's a trend!

2I do if it works for me!
3If it works for me, then yes, but I don't just blindly wear whatever the latest trend is (i.e., skinny jeans).
4I just use what I like!
5yeh if it works for me! Like i love the skinny jeans and ballet pumps trend! it works for me! hehe
6if it works for me and i like it sure ill go with the flow
7If I like it and it works for me, I'll do it. Right now, I'm into cute wedges, flats and cuff bracelets.

9If whatevers in works for me..I like to be trendy!!
10depends on the trend..I choose what's right for my body !
11I don't follow trends.
I set them.
12i only do trends if they fit my body well.
skinny jeans? umm, no!
low-heeled knee-length boots? yes!
bubble skirts? bought a couple and then realized i looked like a balloon!
short skirts? yes!
grecian-chic? yes!
just gotta go with what looks good on you.
13i really wanted to follow suit when skinny jeans came out - but I really look horrendous in them.

14**look flattering...

16Nah...

20I wear what I like. I don't care "what's in" although if something I like is "in" it's great because I can buy a lot!!

22If it fits, I wear it. Most times I just express my own style. Like imahoopie said, if it's in, that's great because I can find ut at stores.
23I mix and match - for example, I still haven't given up on my Juicy velours for those "I wanna wear my pajamas all day" days =P

25I like to take one or 2 things from a cretain look and mix it with another look! I like to create my own!
26If it suits me? Sure. But I would never wear something just because it's trendy. You look stupid and a definite try-hard.
A lot of designers are coming out with "trendy" pieces that can be used season after season, so it is getting better.

29if my plus size body can wear it and it's in my budget why not?
30If it's my style, ya I'll wear it. However I won't buy something (even if it's the hottest trend out there) if I don't like it.
31i'm definitely not a trend follower. i have really basic, simple, and classic taste, so i'm not to keen on things that are going to be "in" one minute, and "out" the next. and besides, i can't afford to follow the every-changing trends of the fashion world.
32only if it's not ugly and I won't cringe when I remember that I wore it before.
33i try not to, but it seems like all the stores carry the same stuff! there's not escaping the trends! so i try to stay away from trends and go to second hand stores.
34no, i just buy what i like
35i like following trends, but you will never catch me in a mustard yellow trench lol. xD
36having a style is the most important thing for me,however I do tend to fit the new trends in my style if it works.. looking & having an effortless style is what's important not looking trendy!
37I've got a look that I stick with generally, but I'm not afraid to try new things.
38I'm a "wear-whatev's-pretty-but-not-out-of-date" gal. But if whatever's "in" and I like, then yea, I would wear it.
