It was bound to happen. Crop tops are back in a badass way. If you're brave enough to show some skin, jump on the bandwagon. Don't fret, there's no need to go all-out '80s like Whitney Port. I suggest contrasting this short shirt with something more sophisticated like a pair of cropped black trousers or cute skirt. Even better, try layering it over a tank a la Sienna Miller. You down?

I feel like the looser cropped tops would be unflattering. But I'll give it a try with a pair of mid-rise skinny pants.
1crop tops have been back for a while now in the uk.
unfortuantely my boobs are too big and my stomach isn't flat enough to pull off this look
i guess you could do it if you could layer rather than show off your tum. but like most trends, not everyone can pull them off.

6Showing skin isn't my issue with crop tops. My issue is that they aren't flattering in any way. They chop up your proportions and make everyone look oddly shaped!
7I would wear a crop top that was fitted and layer with a cute tank underneath - I think that would be a cool look! I don't care for the loose versions.

10I have one that I wear out at night with a high-wasted skirt. Less than an inch of skin shows when I'm standing so it doesn't look trashy. I shortened and hemmed a normal shirt myself so that it would hit in just the right spot (to show off the slimmest part of my waist).

12If you wear cropped tops with the right outfit, they DO NOT look trashy at all. Of course, if you're going to overexpose yourself....

I'm with Talldiva45. I would only wear it as a layer. I like cropped cardigans, though.

24I think crop tops can look good with high waisted flaired skirts or tiny shorts. You'd either look really good, or just wh*re galore though
