America's Next Top Model fans rejoice! The show has been renewed to run until at least 2010, which means more Tyra than you can handle (the show is such a guilty pleasure for me)! ANTM will return to New York after the upcoming season, which is based in LA.

1WHAT 2010!!!! That's so awesome, I do hope that the challenges they do gets more editorial in the new seasons but other than that this is also my guilty pleasure.
Lastly, Fab have you been watching A Model's life on TLC with Petra as the host. What do you think of that show? My opinion is that the show has more of your typical runway models than the models in Tyra's show.

6i used to like this show...but i was so pissed that caridee was chosen over melrose two seasons ago i haven't tuned in since. it was so weird that the judges kept on telling melrose she was doing a great job only to smash her at the end. i thought it was strange that they chose the girl who was not very good.
7i also have been annoyed with tyra banks lately...she opposed ageism in the modeling world but instead of making an example she cuts a girl for having wrinkles by her eyes? she opposes sizeism but then choses a human toothpick as the winner?
pinkflats - am so glad you brought up a model's life. I really like that show. it's much less "created" drama and more about the business. the models are all young, come from around the world and you can pretty much clearly see why they were selected. petra comes off being super duper nice, less den mother like tyra. you also see how antm girls get so much coaching and help and photos. i will watch both but of late am liking ml more. i think it will depend upon the personalities of the girls in the next cycle.

11as much as i can't stand trya lately, when this show is on marathon style on VH1 i literally sit on my couch all day and watch the entire season...it's pretty addiecting so i'm glad it's sticking around a while longer

16I just started watching A Model's Life and I love it too! I really really like Petra as the host. The girls are so damn vapid...it makes ANTM girls look like scholars. That is pretty annoying but whatever.

18I'm excited - this is definitely a guilty pleasure but I love it! I have been watching A Model's Life - the two are so different it is hard to compare them. I agree with JennaV - the girls on ML don't seem to have the personalities as the ANTM girls but I've just assumed that it's because they're so young. But I'm sure ANTM casts girls as much for personality as for looks while ML is probably more realistic re: the modeling profession. Either way, I'll be watching both!

27Love the catty b*tches in this show! I always find it funny when tyra tries to look so solemn in the judging before handing out the pics, so fake.
28While ANTM's track record isn't that great in terms of winners, I also have to agree with the ANTM love. It's a really good, highly entertaining reality show.
I don't care if these girls stay in modeling or not, I just like the catfights and photo shoots. Hehehehe. And I pick favorites.

33I'm glad Caridee won over Melrose. The more I watch the show the more I become addicted. But Project Runway is still my fave. When is that coming on again?
