Owls flew into our lives a while back and it seems they're still lurking. Some are small and simple, while others, like this Rachel May Wood Owl Necklace, $99, are big and bold. I myself have a small gold owl necklace, but this one is a tad gaudy in my opinion. Plus, I am not digging the beaded chain. What's your take?

15typically i do like owls however in this case, the owl is a tad too large and the wooden beads don't help either. If the owl was even 1/2 the size it is now, hung on a gold chain it would have been cute.

41forever 21 made a necklace that looked exactly like this sans beads. it had a regular link chain and it was longer. i think their version does justice to the owl.

44This is really bad. My elementary school librarian wore this necklace - - - in 1975! Not kidding here, and that is definitely NOT a compliment. This is not retro-kitsch, this is retro-tacky: Bad then = bad now.
