Colorful maxi dresses are all the rage these days. Here is one, Jonathan Sanders Wyler Maxi Dress, $3,370, that is more evening. Although maxi dresses don't flatter everyone, I love the acid bright colors, the silk chiffon panel down the center and the sleek short sleeves. I'd gladly rock this at a fashion soirée. Would you?

wow, 50/50
The black portion looks like it doesn't match the rest of the dress.
If the black sleeves were cut off, it wouldn't be that bad.
I love the sleeves, it's so rare to see a covered-up evening dress
i don't like the black sleeves very much..but the colored part is really beautiful
It would have been nice without the black raglan sleeves
hate it.
Hate it.
hate it.
Oh. My. God. I was JUST looking at this dress on the Net-A-Porter site and thinking how it would be a great "Love it or Hate it." Literally five minutes ago. Wow.
I personally love it - it's fabulous.
I would rip off the black sleeves.
I love the material and the colors but not really as a maxi dress with black sleeves. I think this could have made a great sundress.
I don't like it at all. Too bright and long.
Yuck.....to flowy and I don't think the sleeves go weel.
IT had the potential of being a beautiful dress. The shape of it is great its just the colors that I don't like so much
i don't like those black sleeves
It is interesting--but I don't see this working for the average jane.
Don't like it at all.
I think the black is tooooo stark.
Love everything about it...except the price. Seriously, I was drooling over this on NAP a few days ago.
Not liking this. If all the black is off, and you add a pair of beige heels instead of the black, then its fab.
on the right person it would look amazing- thinking charlize theron. def someone with height. it would look horreeeeble on me.
I like it! I think maybe a shade of gray or a beige or bisque color would temper it some, but the black does fine. The dress would look amazing on anybody, once again, you'd have to find a way to make it work for you and not against you. If you feel too short to be wearing it, try to have it altered somehow so it does work for you if you can. Or find a size that makes it flattering on you.
DivaBunny, I'm sure you'd look smashing in that dress! You don't have to be Charlize Theron to be able to pull it off.
I, for one, would definitely rock this dress! It stands out and I love to stand out.
Yuck
I like it minus the gym tee shirt sleeves. I too short to pull dresses like this off though.
I hate the sleeves.
love the colors but not the style.
I think this dress would do better as a halter neck... Take out the black sleeves and put the belt black... and maybe shorten the length to the knees a little?
would be better without the black sleeves!
I love it with some alterations.... Lose the black and its good to go!
Maybe it would be better to get rid of the sleeves. Although I still wouldn't wear it.
nICE BUT I DONT LIKE THE SLEEVES OOPS! i wrote in capitals
dont like the black part
Would looks sweet without the black. Obviously I'm not the only one who thinks so!
I also hate the sleeves, but maybe if the belt were black it would have pulled the outfit together better? The sleeves and the black under the dress make it seem like the dress would be uncomfortable for summer.
Hate it.
Without the black sleeves it would be nice
hate it the color the shape everything
The dress would look better if it didn't have the black sleeves.
Hate it.
I love the beautiful colors and the material looks so soft, perfect for summer. I love the contrast between the bright yellow and oranges, and the black sleeves, it makes the colors pop out even more.

undecided?
undecided?
love everuthing but the awful black sleeves...
