After years of yearning to go to Burning Man, I'm finally biting the bullet! I can't tell you how excited I am to experience La Playa. The adventure, the outfits β the music! Since my wardrobe theme is Bollywood gypsy, I asked you to help me put together an appropriate outfit that doesn't make me look like I tried too hard.
I started you off with these Dr. Martens Patent Purple Boots ($88) because they're rad and can handle the dirt. Let's see your work.
Look #1, created by chloe bella, exudes modern gypsy. All the pieces come together beautifully.
Look #2, created by a million suns, is super sassy. The belly chain is perfect.
Look #3, created by maria212134, is girlie boho. Digging the torn jeans.

You're just going to melt if you wear those shoes. it's HOT there. Hello?
1All I can suggest is SPF 70 and bottled water. If you're doing Burning Man they way it's meant to be experienced, you won't care about what you're wearing!
2Oh thanks for picking my look, Fab!
3um, burning man is about costume and art and expressing yourself creatively. most people run around naked. i hoped you haven't packed and left yet, because you need to hit haight street costumes pronto.
4Those new docs are going to be covered in playa dust within minutes! All of your expensive clothing and jewelry is...do some research, you're in the desert!
5Yeah isn't Burning Man style NUDE? All i ever hear about Burning Man is people running around naked.
6Hey gals. FYI, I survived and ended up wearing a day uniform of bikini tops, chain scarves as skirts, moccasin boots, and dust masks. At night - anything goes and I got fuzzy boot covers for my Docs so they didn't get ruined. There were a lot of nakies but there was a tremendous amount of creativity and inspiration. It was pretty amazing - and yes, SPF 70 and CamelBak all the way. xo
