Rumor has it that design diva Donatella Versace is dressing the Spice Girls for their comeback tour. She is supposedly working on an array of looks for each girl, and the clothes all together will be worth over $400,000! If this turns out to be true, you're likely to see Mel C in a "really sexy wardrobe" rather than poorly-fitting jumpsuits, and Emma in "stunning, elegant dresses with a playful touch" rather than babydoll dresses.

Sounds promising, but all this begs the question: what's happening with those awful platform shoes they all used to wear? Perhaps to be updated with Yves Saint Laurent and Lanvin platforms all around? Major.

those platforms were awsome! i wanted them so badly. if i go to the concert im defenitly going all out in dressing up
1Ohh! I definitely would love to see Mel in tres chic outfits! Not those jumpsuits! The shoes though...? If they get new styled shoes, then that would be the new staple of every Spice Girl fanatic!
2I'd like to see Scary in something less form fitting than here. That shiny tight pencil skirt is a little much on her thighs and bum. No insults, she's beautiful - I'm just saying.
3I would love to see their new outfits
4this sounds really lovely! i wish i could go to one of those concerts!
5I still love the spice girls
6I wanna see those outfits!!
7not ysl ladies! its been announced that donatella is going to dressing the spice girls on their tour!

8Looking at this picture, they all look really old now.
9Ummm was I just a naive teenager or did they look alot better the first time around? Sport looks like a brunette stephanie from Full House, Ginger like julianne moore, and Scary- well, cut her some slack, she did just have a baby. Posh is the only one who has kept up her looks and everything about her (especially those ta-ta's) looks very unnatural!
10The Spice Girls look the same to me... just older! At least I can tell which is which!
Although I wouldn't have known Scary Spice just from looking at her, just because I'm used to seeing her with big curly hair!
I loved their platform shoes!
11I loved them... and still love them... SPICE UP MY LIFE!!!
12I think that all look great now, but I really wish that they would stick to their stereotypes that they used to. I really want to see Geri slutted up with fire engine red hair with union jack hot pants. I want Mel C in track suits with her hair in a ponytail, maybe with that red streak she would sometimes have. I want Emma in pigtails and white platform sneakers. Mel B can ONLY wear animal print, it's her signature look! And Vicki, ahh I want her in her little black dresses, with her old boobs, and plus maybe 10 pounds.
I'm just joking. No matter what they wear they are STILL the Spice Girls.
13Apparently the rumour's not true..a spokesperson for versace denied it! booooo!

14i loved the platform shoes...hehe i still wear platforms!! they're awesome!!
15I agree with Mel... I still want to see them stick to their stereotypes... Scary, Baby, Ginger, Posh, and Sporty.
16I probably not necessary for me to say it again, but I'm so excited about the Spice Girls reunion. I'm actually on the waiting list for tickets!
17To me, half of the fun and craziness of the Spice Girls was seeing what ridiculous things they were wearing.
I just hope they don't come out looking like Donatella herself.
18I also agree with Mel, they're not the Spice Girls if they're not all in their characters!!! :'(
19i can wait to see the new improved spice girls! they are not as obnoxious now........
20they are much better now than before
21As far as the platforms go, some of the styles they wore weren't much different than some of the styles that are in fashion again. As to "looking really old", I guess that this is rather relative to your own age. If you were into the Spice Girls when you were only about 8 or 9, making you about 15 or 16 now, I can understand why people of around 30 might look "really old"; but if you were 15 or 16 then, I suggest that you go and look in the mirror, -you're not a teenager anymore, growing older is what happens!
Girl Power changed many young women in Britain once and for all; hopefully they'll bring up their daughters the same way. Unfortunately I see to many young women today regressing and wanting to still be "little girly" instead of proper women; those damned ballerina flats don't help!
