Diamonds! never had one before I want one now.

Diamonds and Sapphires are my favorite!

I don't really wear either, I have this idea that only old ladies wear pearls don't know why and diamonds maybe on my wedding ring

Until people stop dying for Diamonds, until whole economies aren't overcast with abuse, I wouldn't think to buy even one. Even the Diamonds that are supposedly authenticated properly, I don't trust it.

Both. I like diamonds for every day - studs, wedding band, charm bracelet (it's my birthstone, so I have quite a lot).
I like a simple pair of pearl studs for when I dress up or a necklace, But NOT both. Simple and classy. And pearls only look grandmotherly if you look like a grandma!!

I like diamonds and Tahitian black pearls. I have some CZ earrings that I call my "man-made" diamond earrings Just because they weren't around 1000 years ago...

I never want to have pearls. It reminds me of grandma or matronly jewelry. Once my boss whose husband owns a jewlery store gave me a pair of pearls with diamonds on it, I didn't even want to wear it so I gave it to my mother.

I never bought either, nor do I really care about real gemstones on jewelery. I'd pick diamonds over pearls because my relatives have showered me in pearls since I was little (it's my birthstone). Plus my grandmother and godmother demand them to be wore during functions they force me to attend. I associate pearls with the class and grace, but diamonds also have an elegance as well.

Pearls.. they are so classy and sophisticated. I don't really wear any diamonds other than my engagement ring, and even then I have an asscher cut which is less sparkly and more classy. I do wear pearls almost every day though, and sometimes I even switch out my engagement ring for a pearl ring.

i hate pearls...not really my look at all and unfortunately my best friend just got me pearls for a graduation gift so in terms of appearance i'd have to go with diamonds but they're becoming quite a controversial stone and not even all that precious so i guess it's neither for me

I love diamonds, but everybody has them and wants them. I love pearls more simply because you don't see them as often. Plus, they always make you look more put together.

I love amethyst, aquamarine, emeralds, sapphire and topaz. Diamonds are too burned out for me.

I prefer more natural elements like wood or metals that have not been tumbled so they are not very shiny. I like pearls if they are in very small quantities but as for diamonds i am not very fond of them at all
