Husband and wife duo, Thea Grant and Nicolas Bazzani, are the masterminds behind the label, Thea Grant Jewelry. Thea, a Brooklyn native, founded the company in 2003, after having much success with her designs on the runway. Prior to that, she dabbled in haute couture, costume design, sculpture and millinery. In 2005, she was joined by her hubby, who quite fittingly had experience in art industrial design and product design.

Together, Thea and Nicolas create beautiful yet oddly unique jewels by combining unexpected objects like for this Clermont Avenue Necklace, $348. Vintage objects, fobs and charms are likely to grace a Thea Grant piece. Materials used range from vintage brass to sterling to gold, and the result is anywhere from delicately gothic to edgy rock 'n' roll.
