Victoria's Secret has its stable of Brazilians, Agent Provocateur has Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Frederick's of Hollywood, well, they're going for Dita. After all, lingerie - and less - is her forte.
Dita will be fronting a new line of (surprise!) forties pinup-inspired lingerie out just in time for the holiday season. The collection, "Pin-up Parade," will debut in Frederick's November catalogue, which is to feature Dita in a traditional burlesque feather dance, as well as ski bunny pinup scenes. Dita fan or not, you have to agree she is the ideal pin-up girl for the skeevy brand.

I think this is a great idea. I love the pinup style. Can't wait to see the collection.
Maybe I will seem to look stupid but honestly who is Dita?
I think Dita is gorgeous.
This is the most perfect celebrity/fashion collision since Dakota Fanning posed for Marc Jacobs. Bravo to Frederick's for being very spot on!
can we say yummy and cute!?
I dunno, her face kind of has an edgey look to it, in a sense that the 40's pin u girls were soft looking, slightly innocent, and super cute! she's not quite soft enough for my taste.
dita is vonterrific shes fabolous. She looks like a 1940s pinup.
Dita is so gorgeous. She looks like a porcelain doll.
Oh, and Dita is a burlesque dancer who was married to that creepy guy, Marilyn Manson.
I agree Dita is amazing!!!!!!! She is so beautiful and I love the old school pin-up look! I'm excited about this line
I think Dita is so perfect for this...very burlesque (sp?)
loves it.
LOVE her! This is so awesome. Please believe I will be at my local Fredericks checking out the loot.
I love Dita.
I love Dita, maybe Frederick's is upping their game and will come out with some less skeevy things
I love Frederick's! I'm excited!!
SWeeeeeeeeeeeT! My man shops at Fredricks a lot...I'll have to point this out.
Dita is so beautiful. Maybe this line won't be so trashy for Frederick's?
Sweet! I hope Frederick's can revamp themselves now that they have Dita instead of hanging off Victoria Secret's coattails(even though they were here first[1946]) or being seen as a skanky costume store.
And I just wiki'd Frederick's and it seems that Bettie Page wore Frederick's!
Her skin is so perfect!
love the lingiere... it's fabulous! Dita Von Teese really inspires that forties retro look that's so feminine and sexy!
Dita is such a born vintage model!! great choice for fredericks
maybe she'll bring a bit of class to it. even though she is a burlesque dancer- she always has an air of class
Come to papa.
awesome, too faboo for words
I agree. Dita is very classy. She's so old hollywood. I love her. I could do without the Brazilians for a while. This is much sexier.
Wow, so classy for Fredericks. Who'd have thought they'd do something less skanky than Victoria's Secret?
perfect pinup!
I met her once, she has the most perfect skin, and she is soooo petite. even with heels.
Dita Von Teese can hopefully bring Frederick's back to what it originally was...a fun, funky,EXTREMELY sexy place to find EXTREMELY sexy garments for women who want men to follow them whereever they go...the last 20 years,Frederick's has looked more like a slighty more provocative place than Sears....I hope it gets back to the SUPER-EROTIC glamour style it had back in the 70s and early 80s...including the pin-up drawings that made the catalog so hot...AND the tantalizing commentary"Keep Him UP! Frederick's Style"...WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dita von Teese is fabulous! I hope Frederick's can do justice to her
Go Dita. What the hell was Agent Provocateur thinking? Going from Kate Moss to Maggie Gyllenhaal.. Christ, the MORE clothes on her the better. And a bag over her head please.
