Sometimes it's not a hard decision. This was my favorite gown at Marchesa. Done. Why is it always the purple one? While we ponder that, also notice the hand-painted floral tattoo hosiery — pretty cool. And those are custom Louboutins, in case you were wondering. Marchesa was inspired by "the drama and romance of Madame Butterfly," and the red-carpet-ready creations were therefore embellished with handmade origami and sculptured beauty. Beaded flowers and contrasting colors added intrigue, while the palette went from soft mint and lilac to black and fuchsia. Corsets supplied an erotic note. You know my fave, which is yours?

My favorites are 5, 14 and 17... but overall, it's a gorgeous collection. If only I had money and the occasions to wear them... *sigh*
1Wow. Amazing architectural detailing...I love that purple one. Some of the dresses kind of remind me of Elie Saab but less glitzy and more soft (if that makes any sense).
2This collection is wonderful... so nice to see something original this season, finally!
3Lovely! My favourite is probably pic 22 and the purple one in the main pic.
4Gorgeous collection
5# 5 is amazing!!!
6the collection is absolutely brillant!!!
beautiful!!! i wish i
could afford to buy one of those dresses lol
7Maybe your birth day offers a hint about your preference for purple? A friend of mine just got back from Thailand and while there was told that because of her birth day (or day of the week, not sure) her go-to color was/is purple.
8This is a very beautiful collection.
9Oh goodness, Marchesa was so so so beautiful! Don't make me choose!
10One thing I know is that Marchesa makes beautiful gowns. but I am in love with dress 17. 31 is also a favorite. This whole collection is gorgeous though.
