I know there are some other serious Paula Abdul fans beside me. Paula was actually one of my first idols, a bit later than Punky Brewster - you heard me right. Aside from Paula's antics today, she was wicked in her hey day. She could dance - shut up and dance! - she could sing, she was cute and she had style. Whether she was rockin' menswear or sultry dancewear, see video below, the girl was on top of her game. This video blew me away and tickled my dark side.
The old fashioned dance hall with scarce scaffolding provided the perfect playground for jazz dancing rebellion. And Captain Paula - in her groupie hat, black sheer top with black bra and skating skirt - led a scantily clad dance troupe in a raw, sensual yet poppy routine. Draw the curtains and get a glimpse of a tangled web of skin, fishnets and flexing muscles. This video is a testament of the power of Paula. Enjoy.

15she's my favorite first idol, too! remember her in the janet jackson nasty boys video? she was so cuuuuute! and working with janet (miss jackson, if you're nasty). she has really come a long way. maybe she's got a few bumps and scrapes but she just keeps moving forward and I LOVE THAT ABOUT HER!
16SHE CAN'T LEAVE IDOL, I NEED HER THERE. BETTER YET, WE ALL NEED HER THERE. The nation needs Paula ABdul to be a judge on Idol. She's like that sweet flavored cream in your favorite coffee. I just love how she is, and I don't care what mistakes she's made or what bad days she's had. The only difference between me and her is that her mistakes and bad days are televised! it can't be easy.
