2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Biker Shorties

We've been advocating biker shorties for a while now. What can I say — I love the '90s. When I spied lots of them at New York Fashion Week my heart palpitated with excitement. Before you start judging, let me point out the way DKNY wore them: higher, subtle, colorful styles paired unexpectantly under tailored shorts and sleek jumpers. It just so happens, these are DKNY "Smoothies" — the brand's latest form of shapewear debuting in January. The 70-plus denier yarn combinations will come in seven matte finish colors and come in three styles: a bike short, high bike short, and capri style. Start your imagination engines.
