I think fab's suggested shoes would have helped a lot to lift the outfit, though.

I don't actively dislike her dress, but it absolutely does not go with her shoes. I was thinking about buying those myself, but she's put me off them now...

I think she was just trying to match the shoes with the hair and the theme (colour blocking) with the dress. Having said that, I agree that it doesn't quite go together either.

this dress is adorable but she just ruined it with the shoes and the hair. It needs t-strap pumps, wolford tights, a splash of green and a cute headband over a straight down-do. my friend also wore this dress with the KORS sanai espadrille in black, which makes a cute summer look.

Ugh, I think she looks terrible.
